Megan had a huge tournament at the Fall ASA Eastern Elite Qualifier, and she helped lead the team to a 3rd place finish out of 38 teams in our first tournament. Meg was a beast behind the plate, catching 37 innings in 48 hours and throwing out 5 of 8 steal attempts! At the plate, she hit 3 home runs and batted in 6 RBIs.
As a freshman with her school ball team this fall, Meg led her Alpharetta High School Varsity team with a batting average of .500, ranking her 15th overall in Georgia High School (GHSA) AAAAAA (MaxPreps). The AHS Raiders recognized her accomplishments with the Rookie of the Year award, and she earned Honorable Mention for the All-Region team.
Meg is a leader both on the field and off the field, and she volunteers her time to lead catching and hitting clinics for local recreational league players. In the classroom, Meg is a 4.0 student, as diligent with her classwork as she is with her softball training.
Going into this year, Megan was recognized by FloSoftball as a Top 2020 Player to Watch, and she will be getting a lot of attention this year from coaches!
